Manager and Trainer

Alisa began barrel racing in 1988. Her parents, Bob and Nelda Durante chose to invest in a beautiful grey gelding named Barts Omega Machine. This tall slender horse soon became an answer to their prayers. Alisa and Omega competed through-out Louisiana and Texas. Though it took alot of blood, sweat and tears they became a strong compeditive team in the rodeo arena! Many buckles and championships later, Alisa developed an interest in training her own barrel racing horses. After a few years, clinics, and hours of trail and error, Alisa produced several well patterned, easy to ride winners!!! From there she decided to try her hand at corrective training, (fixing horses with "bad habits"). This opened up a whole new world of training!!!! She began studying "horse whispering techniques" and trainers such as Parelli, Monty Roberts, John Lyons, Clint Anderson and several others. So with an idea to combine skills from each trainer and some personal style of her own, she developed a program that simplified starting young horses and even re-training older horses using a gentle, clear style of training that helps the horse understand each command we ask of them. This later prevents the horse from being afraid and confused which causes reason to create a bad habit. As of May 2010, the program is stronger than ever. With this wonderful facility and the help of all our friends and family, we pray that this program continues to help people and their horses!! .
