Old River Farms and Equine Center is now available to outside mares and to a limited number of outside stallions. Whether a backyard breeder or a commercial one, our professional services allow you to offer your clients outstanding services without the investment of your time and money that operating a top notch breeding facility entails. We also offer foaling services to mares in full-time care and to a limited number of outside mares as well. These foaling services include imprinting. Imprinting begins at birth! As soon as the cord breaks, the imprinting process begins. With a first imprint from the mare and concurrent strokes from one of our foaling staff, the process begins a trusting environment reducing the fears of the baby and making them easier to handle in the long run!

Old River Farms and Equine Center is also available for layup and recouperation services. When your horse arrives, an extensive evaluation can be conducted to ensure that from feed to supplements or therapeutic treatment, your horse is getting exactly what it needs.
