Located along the banks of the Old Cane River in beautiful historic Natchitoches, Louisiana, Old River Farms and Equine Center is the culmination of a life-long dream for many! What began as a unique home for a family's children and their beautiful equine partners, continues to provide an excellent home and training facility for horses and their owners from across the country.

Established in 1995, Old River Farms is and has been the home of champions. Old River Farms has trained and shown world champions such as Plum Radical, 2007 PHBA/NSBA Champion and Novice Amateur Hunter Under Saddle. Noble Reference, two time AQHA Reserve World Champion Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation and AQHA Amateur Performance Champion. It is also the home of retired barrel racing champion Barts Omega Machine.

Old River Farms has stood AQHA Champion Rare Bar, AQHA Performance Champion and World Champion Sire Hot Attraction, and currently Skips Radical Rascal, two time World Champion sire.

Old River Farms is situated on 50 acres of prime river bottom. In the fall, we harvest organically grown pecans from the pecan orchards. We grow and harvest hay in the summer as well... more
